Lab Hours

Mon. Tue. Thu. - 9:00 am - 8:45 pm
Wed. Fri. Sat. - 9:00 am - 5:45 pm

Computer Lab

  • High-speed Internet access: 16 multimedia computers DVD Burners: available on all computers
  • Printing: full-color, $.25 per page. The Lab houses a Ricoh Aficio printer.
  • Scanning: no charge, however, patrons must provide their own flash drive, or blank CD / DVD to save the file. 
  • Storage devices: flash drives ($10  for 16G size) or (blank CD / DVD $1.50) are sold in the Lab.

  • Time limit: two hours on the computers

Family Lab

  • To use this Lab: adults must be accompanied by a child in the 5th grade and under.
  • High-speed Internet access: six multimedia computers
  • Printing: full-color, $.25 per page. Documents will be sent to the Adult Dept. for printing.
  • Software applications: See Below 
  • Time limit: two hours on the computers

Internet Cafe / Courtyard

  • High-speed Internet access: four Internet computers
  • Wi-Fi: in the Internet Cafe & Courtyard. See the Internet & Wi-Fi Policy.
  • Printing: full-color, $.25 per page. Documents will be sent to the Adult Dept. for printing.
  • Printing from personal laptops: Wi-Fi printing is not available at this time. 
  • How to check out a laptop: laptops are available for check-out in the Adult Dept. With a current library card and driver's license, patrons may check out a laptop for two hours for use within the library. The laptops have DVD drives with burners.  Patrons must provide their own CDs/DVDs or flash drive to copy or save information. 
  • Time limit: two hours on the computers

 Additional Services Provided Throughout the Library

  • High-speed Internet access: Internet computers and catalog terminals are placed in the Adult and Children's Depts. In addition, two game computers and four iPads with kid games are in Children's Department.
  • Wi-Fi: in all areas of the library, including auditoriums and meeting rooms. See the Internet & Wi-Fi Policy.
  • Printing: full-color, $.25 per page. The Adult and Children's Depts. each house a Ricoh Aficio printer, in addition to the one in the Computer Lab.

Software Description

  • Adobe Acrobat Reader - Reads PDF files from any application.
  • Internet Explorer - Browse the Internet.
  • Google Chrome - Browse the Internet.
  • Microsoft Access 2007 - Database: creates tables, queries, reports, forms, etc.
  • Microsoft Excel 2007 - Spreadsheet: creates financial documents and charts.
  • Microsoft PowerPoint 2007 - Creates/runs slideshows.
  • Microsoft Publisher 2007 - Desktop publishing - creates flyers, cards, etc.
  • Microsoft Word 2007 - Word processing: letters, resumes, flyers, etc.
  • Paint.net - Edits pictures for use in applications and printing.
  • Windows DVD Maker - Burns documents and images to a CD / DVD drive.
