About the Bookstore
The Friends Bookstore, located on the lower level of the library, is where money is generated to support the mission of the library [2]. Stop by often to get great deals on used books, audiobooks, magazines, DVDs, and CDs! Everything is available from current best sellers to classics to collectibles.
Purpose of Friends
The Friends of Homewood Public Library is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to support the library. Friends makes it possible to provide services, that would not otherwise be possible, by raising funds and by providing volunteer labor. Their goals include providing needed equipment and books for the library and sponsoring programs such as the Summer Reading Programs.
