SciFi Series: The Strain ...have you been infected?
The Strain is the first book of a trilogy written by Guillermo del Toro and the basis of the sci-fi series The Strain on FX. The concept was first envisioned for television; however no one was interested in picking it up. The idea expanded in to a book series co- written with Chuck Hogan, and later adapted into a 24 issue comic series by Dark Horse Comics.
FX aired it first season of The Strain the television series in 2013, and is currently in its second season. MSSTARSNEWS.com posted about a possible tie-in with the Dark Horse Comics' version of the series.
