No library books were harmed in the making of this dress...

In an outside-the-box move worthy of Project Runway, designer Ryan Novelline scoured thrift stores for Little Golden Books, took them apart and repurposed them as this high-end, one-of-a-kind dress.

"The skirt is comprised entirely of the illustrations from the books sewn together with metallic gold thread, and the bodice is made from the books’ foil spines. Both the bodice and top of the skirt have tape backing for reinforcement."
