Redwall author dies at age 71
Today I learned that Brian Jacques, author of the popular Redwall series, passed away from a heart attack. His BBC obituary details his life and extraordinary literary career.
Mr. Jacques was the first author I ever emailed and I was so thrilled when he responded. His books are wonderful tales of adventure and fantasy and I always recommend them to teens when they ask for something exciting.
